Greens at Buffalo Run condominiums offer basements and two-car garages

The Greens at Buffalo Run offers 74 townhome-style condominiums with four floor plans near Buffalo Run Golf Course. The convenient location provides an easy commute into Denver and a quick 10-minute drive to Denver International Airport.

The two- to four-bedroom floor plans are available as ranch homes or two-story homes, and all come with unfinished basements and attached two-car garages. Buyers can choose to upgrade with a finished basement in their purchase price, says Janelle Walston, Broker/Owner for Walston Group Real Estate, which manages all sales and marketing for JM Weston Homes.

“These are attached properties but don’t feel like it,” Walston says. “They feature spacious open layouts and unfinished basements, which is unusual for a condo.”

The base price starts in the low $400s and goes up to $450,000. Buyers can expect to have their condos completed in six to eight months.

What’s available?

The four plans:

The Dupont: This ranch home is 2,826 total square feet, including the 1,392-square-foot unfinished basement. It features two bedrooms, plus a study, and two baths.

The Irondale: This two-story home is 2,196 total square feet, including the 596-square-foot unfinished basement. It features three bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

The Derby: This two-story, two-bedroom home is 3,178 total square feet, including the 1,298-square-foot basement. It features a main-level suite, study, loft area, and 2.5 baths.

The Rose Hill: This two-story, three-bedroom home is 3,329 total square feet, including the 1,353-square-foot basement. It features a main-level suite, loft area, and three baths.

With study and loft space, buyers have options for both office space or additional bedrooms. Buyers could choose to have up to five bedrooms in their condo, Walston says.

Finishing options

JM Weston Homes feature green construction with high-efficiency features, including tankless water heaters, LED lighting, Low-E Dual pane windows, 3rd party energy certificate and verification (HERS Rating), and a comprehensive insulation package.

The condominiums also include pre-wire for air conditioning, landscaping with irrigation system, 9-foot ceilings at the main level and basement, knockdown finish on walls and ceilings, single raised panel interior doors, luxury vinyl plank flooring in entry, kitchen, and laundry, 30-year asphalt shingle roofs, and stain-resistant carpet.

Buyers can choose between design packages to make their homes their own without feeling overwhelmed by choices, Walston says.

“We want to make it easier,” she says. “You can choose colors and finishes within each package, so it’s not overwhelming.”

Standard design packages include:

  • Kitchens with quartz countertops, birch flat-panel cabinets, kitchen island, stainless steel appliances, stainless steel double bowl sink, pantry with wood shelves, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and recessed lighting.
  • Bathrooms with laminate countertops, vinyl flooring, subway ceramic tile in tub and shower surrounds, Delta faucets in chrome, mirrors at all bath sinks, chrome towel and toilet hardware, and low-water-use toilets, faucets, and showerheads.
  • Primary suites with walk-in closets, dual sinks in bath, oversized shower with glass enclosure, and separate water closets. En-suite baths also include quartz countertops and tile flooring.

Additional amenities

The builder also wants to make it easy for homebuyers to enjoy their new homes.

The condominiums are maintenance-free because the development will include landscaping, exterior maintenance, and snow removal. “You can lock and leave if you want to,” Walston says.

The homeowners’ association also provides comprehensive insurance covering the building and everything the builder puts into the home. That saves buyers money because they only need to purchase insurance for their personal belongings rather than traditional homeowners insurance.
