What is the most expensive house for sale in Cleveland? Top 10 real estate listings by price in Cuyahoga County

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The COVID-19 pandemic sparked a housing boom. Record-low mortgage rates combined with low inventory have driven up demand. Homes are going fast and for top dollar.

The hot housing market has cooled off a bit since peaking earlier this year, but, “It is still a strong market for sellers and I don’t really see that ending any time soon,” says Howard Hanna broker Kim Crane.

She says there still is limited inventory in most price ranges, resulting in very motivated buyers. But there is another component triggering sales at the higher end of the spectrum.

“Buyers do prefer turn-key, move-in conditions and are very willing to pay a premium. That is one of the factors influencing higher prices,” Crane says. “Time is money and right now it is hard to get renovations done with high demand, low supplies and few workers.”

Indeed, she has several listings above or hovering around $1 million. Countywide, there are currently more than 90 homes listed at $1 million dollars and higher, according to Realtor.com.

Here are the 10 most expensive houses available for sale in Cuyahoga County. Homes listed as pending, contingent or to be built are not included.
